The autobiography is the subject of two suits for an injunction—one initiated by Raymond Limited in Thane and the other by Raymond Group chairman and Vijaypat's estranged son Gautam Singhania in a Mumbai court. In the suit pending in the Thane court, Raymond Limited, represented by Senior Advocate Girish Godbole, briefed by KN Legal led by Kartik Nayar along with Rishab Kumar and Sarthak Malhotra, has sought a pre-publication injunction on the autobiography on the ground that it contains defamatory contents, confidential information and other trade secrets.
