Youth attacked, cop allegedly assaulted

A youth was allegedly attacked at Chowki Kambar Bedraduka around 8 p.m. on Saturday and police officers who arrived at the scene were also allegedly assaulted by a group of people. The attackers allegedly used abusive language, issued death threats, physically assaulted them, threw stones, and stole around ₹10,000 from their vehicle. Based on Mufeed’s complaint, a case has been registered against Shivakumar and nine others, all residents of Kudlu village, under multiple Sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
