Parents of missing 6-year-old Texas boy may have fled to India: Police

India Today

The parents of a missing 6-year-old Texas boy may have fled to India after a search for him turned into a death investigation last week. “On November 1, 2022, Cindy obtained passport photographs for all of the children living with her, expect for Noel,” the police said, adding that Cindy applied for passports the next day. A child with special needs, Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, was last seen late October or early November last year after his twin sisters were born, the police said at a press briefing. Cindy, who believed Noel was possessed by a demon, was known by relatives to be abusive and neglectful to him, the police said, adding, “One relative witnessed Cindy strike Noel in the face with keys for drinking water.” According to the authorities, Noel was prematurely born and had several physical disabilities and developmental disorders.
