Amenities will be improved in newly regularised colonies: Arun Jaitley
New Delhi: The government's decision to regularise unauthorised colonies in the national capital has been taken to provide basic amenities in these areas on par with other developed colonies of the city, Union Minister Arun Jaitley said on Friday. The Finance Minister was speaking to reporters at his residence where Delhi BJP leaders had gathered to felicitate him for the Union government's “pro-people decisions”. The Finance Minister said the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken two important decisions for the betterment of Delhi. Delhi BJP chief Satish Updhyay said the Union government is taking several pro-people decisions to make Delhi a better place to live in.
