Koala rescuer Samantha's quest to find a companion for lonely Luna the donkey

Queensland wildlife rescuer Samantha Longman has been rescuing and rehabilitating injured koalas for almost two decades, but a recent decision to buy a wild donkey named Luna, destined for the abattoir, is now taking up a lot of spare time. "I have desperately been trying to find another donkey to go with Luna," she said. "I saw Luna advertised on Facebook with a group of other donkeys," she said. "I took on a donkey to give her a good home," Ms Longman said.
