New Aadhaar App With Face ID Authentication Launched

In a post on X, the Union Minister said that the new Aadhaar app allows digital verification, eliminating the need to carry a physical card or its photocopy. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology on Tuesday introduced the new Aadhaar app with Face ID for secure digital verification and QR-based data sharing, while ensuring privacy. “Now, with just a tap, users can share only the necessary data, giving them complete control over their personal information – New Aadhaar App,” he wrote on X. The Union Minister further emphasized that the new Aadhaar app ensures stronger privacy, prevents misuse or data leaks, and protects against forgery or tampering.
