Read our privacy policy A 22-year-old mother faces murder charges in connection with the deaths of her twin 3-year-old sons who were allegedly exposed to fentanyl. Jestice James faces two counts of murder and child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death, along with allegations of child endangerment, according to a release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. “These innocent boys reportedly came into contact with fentanyl, an opioid that has wreaked havoc across our communities,” Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement. Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami told ABC7 that the case was one of five involving children and fentanyl he was looking into, all in the last six months.
