Prince Charles and Camilla visit Brisbane, well-wishers brave wet weather for a glimpse

ABC

Royal watchers braved a rainy Brisbane day to catch a glimpse and a photo of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall before they headed to the Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games. A photographer who is touring with the pair, Arthur Edwards, said after decades of photographing the Royal family he had seen an increase in people taking their own pictures, but the Prince would not take "selfies". Mr Edwards said Prince Charles would never sign an autograph because he is there to meet the people. "I feel like Brisbane doesn't host enough events so I feel like it's a significant event for Brisbane and the people of Queensland," he said.
