Earlier this year, authorities in Seoul, South Korea, inspected 144 products from Shein, AliExpress and Temu and found many contained toxic material The next day, the Temu toaster arrived. The reason for this is that Temu, Shein and AliExpress are essentially marketplaces where different sellers or warehouses list their items for customers – and many list them on all three sites. Earlier this year, authorities in Seoul, South Korea, also inspected 144 products from Shein, AliExpress and Temu and found that 'multiple products from all companies' contained toxic materials.
