Club had issued statement after fans were heard singing chant vs Man United Spurs will take on London rivals West Ham as Premier League action returns Tottenham have warned fans to stop a chant that references Dominic Solanke and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and another that includes the term ‘rent boy’. Ahead of West Ham’s visit on Saturday, season ticket holders received an email saying the club will take ‘a zero-tolerance approach’ to discrimination, seemingly in reference to two songs — one of which makes lewd suggestions about Arteta and another calling Manchester United’s Mason Mount a ‘Chelsea rent boy’. ‘Our stewards will once again be wearing body cams to identify individuals involved in unacceptable chanting, so the club can take the strongest possible action. Tottenham have warned fans not to sing a homophobic chant ahead of their game against West Ham A chant aimed at Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was brought to light after Spurs' win against Manchester United ‘This includes the Dominic Solanke chant with reference to Mikel Arteta and any use of the term “rent boy”, which the Crown Prosecution Service considers a homophobic slur and hate crime.’ The chant was slammed by Spurs LGBT group Proud Lilywhites and anti-discrimination campaigners Kick It Out.
