Next-Gen Snapdragon 8 Elite: Unleash the Power of AI and Flagship Performance

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite is a new top-of-the-line flagship smartphone that will be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. It is powered by a second-generation Oryon chip that has been optimized for mobile use. The chip has two 'prime' cores running at 4.3GHz and six performance cores running at 3.53GHz, forgoing the efficiency cores of yore to deliver 45 percent faster single-core and multi-core tasks, all while using 27% less power than the already efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The chip also features a Hexagon neural processing unit (NPU) that supports on-device multimodal AI assistants with the ability to handle both text inputs as well as visuals. The 8 Elite also features a new feature called XPAN that lets Bluetooth audio transition to Wi-Fi, letting you roam far away from the source of the music as long as you're on the same Wi-Fi network. The 8 Elite also features a faster web browsing performance thanks to a larger cache and optimized memory. The chip also has a new feature called 'Ultra-realistic Gaming' that supports film-quality 3D environments for amped-up immersiveness. The 8 Elite is expected to launch in the coming weeks with the Realme GT7 Pro being the first phone to launch powered by the chip.
