AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal likely to join probe in illegal immigration case today

AAP MLA Mohinder Goyal is expected to join the investigation today in connection with an alleged syndicate of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, Delhi Police officials said. The case is linked to a racket busted in December 2024, in which Delhi Police arrested 11 individuals, including Bangladeshi nationals, for running an illegal immigration operation. This is their standard operating procedure as elections approach.” Delhi Police is expected to question Goyal today to clarify his alleged role in the case. The police have also busted a gang responsible for providing Aadhaar cards and other government identification cards based on fake documents to illegal immigrants residing in the national capital.
