Criminal summons issued for Hornets’ Miles Bridges for violating domestic violence protective order
New York TimesAuthorities in North Carolina issued a criminal summons Wednesday for Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, alleging violation of a domestic violence protective order, misdemeanor child abuse and injury to personal property, according to a copy of the summons obtained by The Athletic. Additionally, authorities have an unserved arrest warrant for Bridges, which was first issued on Jan. 2, for violating the domestic violence protective order, a Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed. The NBA conducted its own investigation into the June 2022 domestic violence incident and suspended Bridges in April for 30 games without pay as a result.
