Lebanon said 23 people were killed and dozens injured in Israeli strikes across Lebanon September 25, the third day of major Israeli raids in the country as fighting with Hezbollah has intensified. The fears that Israel’s war could spread beyond the confines of Gaza and draw in other nations of the region now appear real. With the anniversary of Hamas’ terror attacks and Israel’s war on Gaza approaching, the time has come for the world community to end the mayhem, which has assumed genocidal dimensions.
