India records 2.11 lakh fresh Covid cases, Tamil Nadu and Kerala biggest contributors

India has recorded a spike of 2.11 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and 3,847 deaths over the past 24 hours. Of the total 2,11,298 fresh Covid cases, 62.66% have been reported from these five states, with Tamil Nadu alone responsible for 15.98% of the fresh cases. With the 2.11 lakh fresh cases, India’s total Covid case tally has now reached 2,73,69,093 while the death toll has reached 3,15,235. India also recorded 2,83,135 discharges on Wednesday, taking the total number of recovered cases to 2,46,33,951 while the number of active Covid cases are at 24,19,907.
