Overseas experts give global perspective on nation's development

A new book featuring overseas experts' views on China's extraordinary developments over the past decade was released on the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Friday. The book contains articles from 18 experts in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and overseas areas. Hong Kong experts who contributed to the book include Zheng Yongnian, presidential chair professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen; Allan Zeman, chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group; and Grenville Cross, former director of Public Prosecutions of Hong Kong. During Friday's book release ceremony in Hong Kong, Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki said he believes the book will offer insights for Hong Kong communities to think how to make greater contributions to Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and the nation's great rejuvenation.
