
Ready to allocate more houses to Telangana than its share in PMAY, says Union Minister
The HinduTelangana will get more houses than its allocated share in the Central government’s flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, said Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Telangana Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Transport and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Karimnagar MLA G Kamalakar shared the dais. Mr Khattar responded positively to an appeal by Telangana Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy for allocation of 8% share in houses under the PMAY to Telangana. Earlier, the Union Minister inaugurated various Smart City development works, including a smart digital classroom at Kumarwadi Government High School in Karimnagar.
