TGSPDCL Assistant Divisional Engineer held in bribe case in Gachibowli

Hyderabad: Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited Assistant Divisional Engineer Kotte Satish was caught by the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau for demanding a bribe of Rs.75,000 from a complainant. The ACB officials said Satish demanded Rs.75,000 as bribe and accepted two part amount of Rs.50,000 from the complainant for doing official favour. The bribe was demanded for an already approved work completion report related to the installation of a new transformer and CT meter at an apartment and for the approval of a work completion report dated January 28, 2025, forwarded by the AE office. Both hands of Satish and the left side office table draw of his chamber yielded positive results in a chemical test.
