Maharashtra government signs MoU to construct 12,000 houses for dabbawalas in Mumbai under PMAY scheme

Budget outlay The Maharashtra government’s Interim Budget for 2024-2025 has set a target to construct 35 lakh affordable homes in the next five years through various housing schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, for which it has allocated ₹7425 crore. Budget 2024 has also brought back interest subsidies under the flagship scheme setting aside ₹4,000 crore for the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme.
