Employee Can Join New Employer After Previous Employer Rejects Offer

A single judge bench of the Delhi High Court has ruled that an employer cannot deny an appointment to an employee who has already been relieved by the previous employer. The court held that the employee's failure to provide a relieving letter within the stipulated time period was the sole reason for the revocation of his appointment. The court allowed the employee to join back on the post of Vice President (Finance) within a period of one week with all consequential benefits.
