Relatives of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field praise Alexandra Hills community 'kindness' at candlelight vigil

Family members of Katherine Leadbetter and Matthew Field have paid tribute at a candlelight vigil to the "beautiful representation" of the local community as they honour the couple who was hit and killed by a car in Alexandra Hills, east of Brisbane. Danielle Leadbetter, aunt of Katherine Leadbetter, said the vigil was a "beautiful representation" of their caring community. "I want Kate to be remembered as a beautiful, happy, loving young girl — that's the way I remember her … especially on my wedding day," she said. "It's just beautiful, the community coming together," she said.
