Jitin Prasada's OSD removed from post over 'irregularities', UP minister to meet Amit Shah

Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Jitin Prasada’s Officer on Special Duty, Anil Kumar Pandey has been removed from his post, while five other officers have been suspended following allegations of irregularities and corruption in the department. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered senior bureaucrats to file a report on the allegations. Anil Kumar Pandey had worked with Jitin Prasada when he was a Union minister in the erstwhile UPA regime. Following the action against Pandey and other officials in the PWD over allegations of corruption, a peeved Prasada is likely to go to Delhi today to take up the matter with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, sources said.
