Ms Lake’s aunt Sara French posted a moving tribute to her niece on social media on Wednesday, affectionately referring to her as “our mini” and saying she “was loved beyond words”. Ms French wrote: “It is with a broken heart I need to inform my friends and family Lacey Lake has sadly passed away and her body was found yesterday. In a desperate appeal issued when Ms Lake was still missing, Morgan Hennessy Kelly said: “She has been missing since Friday evening/early morning Saturday and was last seen in a grey Mercedes taxi leaving stonehouse around 6/6:45pm, but unfortunately never returned home.
