‘Jailer 2’: Rajinikanth back as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian in Nelson’s sequel

Superstar Rajinikanth and director Nelson have teamed up for Jailer 2. In the video, Nelson and music composer Anirudh Ravichander are seen relaxing in Goa, even as a news bulletin mentions a cyclone heading steadfast towards Chennai. The teaser slowly reveals that the attacker is none other than ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian, the retired jailer with a dangerous reputation across the country. In the first part, a retired Muthuvel Pandian had swung into action when his son’s tryst with a mafia gang went awry. The film had an ensemble cast featuring Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon and Sunil with cameos by Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Kishore and Makarand Deshpande.
