Janata Curfew: Know what happens in social distancing

To prevent the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced a 'Janata Curfew' on Sunday. Social distancing is a non-pharmaceutical infection prevention and control intervention to stop or slow down the rate and extent of disease transmission in a community. Social distancing eventually helps to decrease in spread, morbidity and mortality due to the disease. In view of the spread of Covid-19 disease, these proposed interventions shall be in force as per the advisory on social distancing measure. Buses, Trains and aeroplanes need to maximise social distancing in public transport besides ensuring regular and proper disinfection of surfaces.
