330 crores sanctioned for Rajamahendravaram's development
Deccan ChronicleKakinada: Urban development minister Adimulam Suresh said development works are being taken up in Rajamahendravaram city at a cost of Rs 330 crore, with priority being given to drinking water projects. He, along with district collector K. Madhavi Latha, municipal commissioner K. Dinesh Kumar and Rajamahendravaram MP M. Bharat, inaugurated several development works, like modernised parks and Kambala Tank on Tuesday. Suresh said a sophisticated command control room has been set up at a cost of ₹125 crore. On the day, minister Suresh inaugurated Pushkara Plaza at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram built a cost of Rs 6 crore, street works of Rs 5 crores, laid a stone for construction of Godavari River Front Project at a cost of Rs 22 crores, a waste management plant at a cost of Rs 10 crore, sewage treatment plant at a cost of Rs 11.57 crore, swimming pool at a cost of Rs 2 crore at Padmavathi Nagar of Morumpudi and other development works at a cost of Rs 95.50 crore.
