ABCA volunteer firefighter has died after suffering a medical episode while working on a bushfire in northern New South Wales Saturday. NSW Emergency Services Minister Jihad Dib said the impact of the man's death would be felt by RFS members and the local community. "My heart goes out to the family of the brave volunteer who lost his life today defending the people of NSW on the frontline of this fire," Mr Dib said in a statement to media. "Our emergency services volunteers give so much to help keep others safe, and we are devastated that today this firefighter gave his life in service to our community.
