Danny Rose admits he felt sickened after England team-mates subjected to racist abuse in Bulgaria

Danny Rose could not bear to watch his England team-mates suffering sickening abuse in Bulgaria - and fully expects racism to continue when 'not-so severe punishments' are meted out. Gareth Southgate's side are preparing for their first match since last month's trip to Sofia, where a 6-0 win was overshadowed when some of the home fans made monkey chants and Nazi salutes. Danny Rose revealed how he felt sickened and could not watch England's match in Bulgaria 'To be honest with you, I couldn't watch it,' the left-back told BBC Radio 5 live. Supporters could be seen making offensive gestures and also made monkey chants Southgate backed his players’ decision to finish the game, saying they had made a statement After the Bulgarian Football Union was fined 75,000 euros on top of the stadium sanction, the 29-year-old was asked what he thought of the latest sanction.
