Two people have been arrested for flouting the ACT's COVID-19 rules in the past 48 hours, as Canberrans are encouraged to dob in venues failing to comply with check-in requirements. ACT police officers then arrested a 36-year-old man on Monday afternoon after he and a young person had travelled to the territory from Greater Sydney in breach of public health directions. ACT police have conducted 674 in-person compliance checks of homes, hotels and businesses, and stopped 1,877 drivers to speak with them in the week to August 1.
