Kejriwal insulted not just Purvanchalis but also autorickshaw drivers, slum dwellers: BJP
The HinduThe Delhi unit of the BJP on Friday held a demonstration against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal outside his residence for allegedly insulting people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar by calling them “fake voters”. Senior BJP leader Manoj Tiwari from Purvanchal demanded an apology from the AAP chief for his “derogatory words.” While speaking to mediapersons, the BJP Delhi MP alleged, “Arvind Kejriwal has insulted not just Purvanchalis but also autorickshaw drivers, slum dwellers, and all artisans who come to Delhi for work”. Mr. Tiwari claimed that the people of Delhi would “not forgive Mr. Kejriwal” and Purvanchalis would unite “to bring the BJP to power”. Santosh Ojha, president of the BJP Purvanchal Morcha, said Mr. Kejriwal sees Purvanchalis as “just a vote bank” and has been “deceiving” them for a decade.
