Drivers have made 63 claims for pothole-related damage every day this year, new figures show, with the Liberal Democrats now accusing the Government of a 'pothole pandemic'. The party called for road maintenance budgets to by fully-restored after it was revealed that the number of pothole claims has gone up by nearly 10,000 in the past year.
