Stock Market Today: Shares of Gensol Engineering, a leading player in the renewable energy sector specializing in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction services, rose 2% from today’s intraday low to reach ₹579.45 apiece. The uptick in shares followed the company’s regulatory filing today, in which it announced the signing of a non-binding term sheet for a ₹350 crore strategic transaction involving the sale of its U.S. subsidiary, Scorpius Trackers Inc., to a major renewable energy solutions provider in the U.S. "The proceeds from this transaction will be strategically redeployed to expand Scorpius Trackers’ operations in India, fuel solar EPC business growth, and support Gensol’s broader clean energy initiatives. This reinvestment aligns with the company’s long-term vision to enhance cash flow and strengthen the balance sheet, ensuring sustained value creation for shareholders," the company said in today's regulatory filing.
