As a young boy, Larry Blair lived in fear of The Toecutters — and with good reason. The Sydney Morning Herald featured a cartoon on February 6,1977 of Larry's stepfather, Frank "Baldy" Blair robbing a van. As Larry said, "With friends like Dad's, who needs enemies?" Larry said "the elders" told him "that Dad's body was dissolved in a barrel of acid and his remains buried at Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport". "What shines through for me in Larry's story is his mum, who was one of the most unbelievable people," Jeremy said.
