Zhangjiagang launches Yangtze River Culture-themed travel route
China DailyZhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, unveiled a travel route blending history, art, and food during this year's Yangtze River Culture Festival. The first stop is Huangsipu Ecological Park, where an immersive exhibition showcases paintings depicting the Yangtze River's legacy and a groundbreaking archaeological experience, fusing augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality technologies. At the park's "Tang Dynasty International Port", visitors can delve into ancient Chinese maritime conquests and the stories of monk travelers along the Maritime Silk Road. The Shazhou Youhuang Cultural Park, featuring 28 areas including a museum, traditional brewing workshops, and the Yellow Rice Wine Research Institute, offers an immersive experience that sheds light on the craft and development of yellow wine.
