Global T20 Canada: Toronto Nationals picks Yuvraj Singh as marquee player

Global T20 League franchise Toronto Nationals have picked former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh as a marquee player in the draft held on Thursday. Yuvraj, who was the man of the series for Team India in World Cup 2011, announced retirement from international cricket to be available for the franchise-based T20 leagues. The second season of the Global T20 Canada will be held in Brampton from July 25 to August 11. I don’t see an issue in him getting the nod to play in overseas leagues now that he has retired from international cricket and the IPL,” a BCCI source had confirmed the development to PTI.
