The teenager reportedly told police officers he added the drug to his coworkers’ drinks because they had “negative energy.” He added the LSD to two of his colleague’s water bottles and another employee’s coffee, police said. Describing reactions the employees may have experienced from LSD use, Sergeant Tony Dennis from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department told local news channel KMOV: “You're going to have an increased heart rate, temperature, higher blood pressure.” He added: “It's been described as causing the shakes or tremors.” The workers displayed reactions consistent with LSD use, according to the Jefferson County Municipal Enforcement Group tasked with investigating local drug crimes.
