AirPods Pro 2 may not feature the anticipated heart rate sensor

Apple recently refreshed its AirPods model with a third-gen AirPod, but we are yet to see a new Pro model. Ahead of the official confirmation, notable Apple Analyst and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman suggests that the new AirPod Pro will launch this year, though it may skip an anticipated health feature. The heart rate sensor on true wireless earbuds isn't exactly new and the feature is available on select products like Jabra Elite Sport Earbuds and AmazFit PowerBuds. With the heart rate sensor on AirPods Pro, it would've aimed to gain an edge over rivals. Meanwhile, Gurman claims that this year's Apple Watch Series 8 will get a body sensor to monitor body temperature.
