Engineering student found dead in Theni

A 21-year-old engineering student was found dead in the hostel bathroom at the Government Engineering College in Bodinayakanur in Theni district on Friday. According to the police, S. Vignesh of Tirunelveli, a third year student of the college was pursuing Electronics and Communications Engineering and was staying at the college hostel which was near the college. When the door was opened with the help of the college security guard, the body of Vignesh was found in a pool of blood. The Bodinayakanur police were informed and the body of the student was sent to Theni Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
