Google Although the Buffalo Bills’ Super Bowl dreams were again sadly dashed, the city’s namesake chicken wings reign supreme. In the Super Bowl’s host state of Louisiana, the most uniquely searched chicken wing type was “mango habanero.” Google’s data is based on searches for chicken wing flavors and styles that showed a higher volume in a given state ahead of the Super Bowl compared to the country as a whole. It’s an interesting combination that I’d never thought of making for myself, even though I do like spicy foods.” The Google Trends team also shared the top-searched Super Bowl appetizers in the U.S. overall: Philly cheesesteak sliders, Hawaiian roll sliders, pigs in a blanket, cowboy caviar and potato skin.
