Porn videos racket: Raj Kundra sent to 14-day judicial custody

Businessman Raj Kundra was on Tuesday sent to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with the porn videos racket case. Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police on July 19 in a case related to the alleged production and distribution of pornographic films through different apps. Raj Kundra and co-accused Ryan Thorpe had each filed petitions in the Bombay High Court, stating they were arrested without being given notice of Section 41a of the CrPC. The police claim that Raj Kundra was a financial beneficiary in the HotShots app, the streaming service at the center of the porn racket.
