Man arrested for duping unemployed youth in Bengaluru posing as RAW officer

The Special Enquiry wing of the Central Crime Branch, on March 4, arrested a man who allegedly duped gullible youth promising jobs posing as a ‘special officer’ of a premier Indian spy agency. The accused, according to the Bengaluru police, has cheated 38 persons after promising a ‘field officer job’ in the spy agency. According to the police, Venugopal met Arvind at a coffee shop one year ago. The duo started cheating gullible youth by offering them a job in the ‘secret service’ after taking money from them.
