Dana White reveals UFC have released legendary middleweight Anderson Silva from his contract

Anderson Silva has now been released from his UFC contract after announcing his retirement last month, according to president Dana White. While Silva is yet to commit to retirement with one fight remaining on his current contract, White confirmed to TMZ Sports on Thursday that the veteran will not make another appearance in the octagon.
