Telangana DGP launches initiative to boost public confidence in policing

To enhance public trust in the police and improve the quality of policing, Director-General of Police Jitender on Saturday launched an initiative that aims to foster a more community-friendly approach while maintaining peace and security. As part of the initiative, Mr. Jitender conducted a special training programme at the DGP office, which was attended by 41 police officers from various districts. Promoting good conduct among officers is a key objective, ensuring behaviour that earns public respect and strengthens the image of the police force,” said the officer. Additional Director-General of Police Mahesh M. Bhagwat, Assistant Inspector General Ramana Kumar, additional deputy commissioners of police Ashok and Satyanarayana and a specialised soft-skills training team from Synchrony also participated in the programme.
