BJP offered Rs 50 crore to 50 Congress MLAs to remove me: Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on Wednesday, alleged that the Opposition BJP, to remove the Congress-led government in the state, offered Rs 50 crore each to 50 Congress MLAs. According to Siddaramaiah, the BJP resorted to making false accusations against him and his government because its plan to buy off Congress MLAs didn’t succeed. The Chief Minister also named Leader of Opposition R Ashoka, BJP state president BY Vijayendra, asking whether they had some way to print cash to offer so much money to bribe Congress leaders. The BJP also accused Congress-run government of corruption in Mysuru Urban Development Authority land allotment, Waqf land grabbing as well as collecting bribe from liquor merchants in the state.
