Mithali Raj parts ways with Gujarat Giants before WPL 2025 auction: Sources

Gujarat Giants and Mithali Raj have parted ways before the Women’s Premier League 2025 auction to be held on Sunday, December 15 in Bengaluru. Despite having players of the calibre of Laura Wolvaardt, Ash Gardner, Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield, the Giants found it tough to get going. They also did not retain Kathryn Bryce, who recently led Scotland in the Women’s T20 World Cup, Trisha Poojitha, Veda Krishnamurthy, Tarannum Pathan and Lea Tahuhu.
