Chhattisgarh's Energy Education Parks to be transformed into net-zero power units

India Today

Chhattisgarh is set to transform its Energy Education Parks, designed to promote awareness and education about renewable energy sources and energy conservation, into Net Zero energy establishments. Aiming to achieve sustainable energy development, seven Energy Education Parks have been established across the state, supported by the Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency. “These energy education parks feature electric models and installations showcasing solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal energy technologies. These solar installations aim to ensure that all electrical equipment within these parks operates on solar energy during daylight hours, with any surplus electricity fed back into the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited grid.
