In a post on X, PM Modi on Monday evening wrote, “The first decision I have taken after returning from Ayodhya is that our government will launch ‘Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana’ with the target of installing rooftop solar on one crore houses.” He further added that the scheme was inspired by Lord Ram and that this scheme would not only help people, but also make the nation self-reliant in energy production.
