ABCA massive wildfire that killed at least 85 people and destroyed thousands of homes in Northern California has been fully contained after burning for more than two weeks. Key points: At least 88 dead and almost 20,00 buildings, mostly homes, destroyed in two fires Rain has helped firefighting efforts but fears flash floods and mudslides could be caused by further falls later in the week Authorities say remains of some victims may never be found The Camp Fire had been surrounded by firefighters following several days of rain in and around the devastated town of Paradise, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said. Last week 50-80mm of rain dropped on the area and turned ash from the thousands of destroyed homes into slurry, complicating the work of finding bodies reduced to bone fragments. At the height of the fire 250,000 people, including celebrities Kim Kardashian West, Caitlyn Jenner, Orlando Bloom, Alyssa Milano, Lady Gaga, Rainn Wilson and fashion designer Donna Karan, fled their homes.
