Donald Trump’s aide Marjorie Taylor Greene removed from US House Freedom Caucus
Live MintMarjorie Taylor Greene, a United States Representative known for her close association with former President Donald Trump, has been removed from the Freedom Caucus, an ultra-conservative group within the House of Representatives, Politico reported on July 6. "A vote was taken to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Freedom Caucus for some of the things she's done," Politico quoted Republican Representative Andy Harris as saying. The official vote occurred shortly after news surfaced of a heated altercation between Greene and her fellow caucus member, Representative Lauren Boebert, on the House floor in June. In his statement to Politico, Harris emphasised that such language and treatment of fellow members, particularly towards female colleagues, is not in line with the expected conduct within the group.
