Nagapattinam govt. school gets AI-powered STEM innovation lab

Tamil Nadu Minister for School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi inaugurated a STEM Innovation and Learning Centre at the Government Higher Secondary School in Prathabarampuram, Keezhaiyur Panchayat Union, Nagapattinam district, on Friday. The 34th STEM Innovation and Learning Centre in the State is part of the Namma School, Namma Ooru Palli initiative, funded by the American India Foundation in collaboration with the School Education Department at a cost of ₹15 lakh. It offers daily sessions for students from Classes 6 to 9, while students from 10 pilot project schools will access the lab every week, said sources from the School Education department. Mr. Mahesh also inaugurated urban development projects in Vedaranyam Municipality, including the ₹86-lakh Agasthiyar Temple Pond restoration under the Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme and a ₹16.80-lakh auditorium at Vedaranyam CKC Government Higher Secondary School.
